And the tacops has 2 more mags and is at a base anywhere from 50-100$ cheaper than the macro. The comp isn’t my thing personally so I went with tacops. I love it. Just got it Saturday. For a first CCW get the tacops. A comp is definitely not necessary on the x macro, it’s a very smooth shooting gun.

XMACRO vs MACRO TACOPS. What are everyone's thoughts? I've heard that the MACRO TACOPS will be 150ish cheaper with more magazines. I'm definitely curious to see what Youtubers will say about this. I think it will boil down to personal preference. I prefer the tac ops and see no value with the “compensator” on the x macro. The comp definitely makes a difference, especially with self defense ammo (I use 124g HST standard load), but the X Macro comp is basically $150 more. Tacops has two additional mags @ 50 bucks each and the X Macro comp is generally 50 bucks more. I bought a Wilson XL grip module to swap out when I want a more concealable carry for either. Simply put, for EDC purposes, the P365 X-Macro is more or less the size of a compact P320 in all respects but is much slimmer, and comes with a ported slide, and an optics mounting solution right from the factory. The question you need to ask yourself is if you are going to use it primarily for range or self defense. If it's range, go with the X-Macro. Compare the dimensions and specs of Sig Sauer P365 XMACRO and Sig Sauer P365 AXG LegionHonestly the p365xl already shoots flatter than a p320 compact and x carry, it just has more felt recoil (force right into the hand) than the 320. The bigger surface area of the grip on the MACRO helps spread out the force on the hand and the slide comp helps as well. The difference is slight but noticeable.

I shoot the X-Macro better than the XL. Maybe an X-Macro Tacops would even the field. I will say that the X-Macro “Comp” does shoot a bit flatter for me and with just maybe a bit less perceived recoil.
