Mine also transferred to NBC from Texas straight after 140 was approved. 7 months later they were all (family of 4) approved directly from NBC. I did include the medicals with the concurrent 140/485, so you have an additional step of the medical RFE. Our I-140 NIW was approved last week (after an RFE) and after 7 days our I-485 just transferred.
