When I stopped to buy lunch it wasn't flashing when I came out and then went into work. When I got off work the same thing happened about 25 mins into my drive.

Jul 1, 2015 · I got the flashing D while on a road trip in North Dakota. I stopped by a local AutoZone and they were able to pull the code (P1740) for me and it was for a failed 4th gear switch. Not sure why your OBD reader is not picking it up. A Honda dealer in Rushmore South Dakota replaced it for me for about $160. The part alone is about $65
