A kineticist will be doing most of their killing from near maximum range (50 feet usually, with extended range or an AOE blast). Dreadful Carnage and Dazzling Display only work on enemies within 30 feet of the character with those feats. Considering ridiculous enemy AC in late game, physical blasts are not viable for late game imho, since kineticist has only 1 attack per round and low attack bonus gain. And the only energy composite blast is blue fire. That's why a late game kineticist uses Cloud, Deadly Earth and Wall infusions.
Well, it seems Kineticist class is simply ignored by devs. I tried the other subclass (overwhelming soul) and its core ability that allows to reduce the burn cost of things other than blasts is simply not working at all (just like that - does nothing when used). So more than a half class-specific choices are completely unusable. So far, it only seems like the only new element added was Blood, and that requires a specific archetype to be able to use.
