Quad 1 gives you a mix of both glide and pivots, while quad 2 give you a more powerful stride, more strenght. Quad zero is mostly for 263 steels or smaller. I usually skate hard North/South as a center/winger and got 271 steels, full inch hollow. Works perfectly for me and I usually recommend Q1 or Q2 to my players.
