Those 2 skills are basically the only reason to use the Spore tree because they offer so much. Figure out what you actually want to do with your build and streamline it to that. Speccing everything just makes you do nothing. As for your gear, some is ok some is bad. Your armor is one of the not great ones. This is the Shroomwraith build I use for Chaos 100 (Spore Warden main with Blightcaller secondary). My playstyle is dealing a lot of gun damage quickly without reliance on companion damage, melee damage, sticky bombs, or constant reloading (e.g. as needed with the Swordsplosion or Lewdite). Best would be 3 into wrath of nature, but affinity and Geist are both helpful on this build. Capstone Blightcaller, max out flawless edge and amped up, and use shock to keep your shield up. In the spore tree focus on ability damage and go down to medicinal mushroom.
