The GI edition is 18" barrel with green furniture and parked; the 'regular' you can get with a 16 or 18", accessorize accordingly (stocks, handguards, etc), and all dark black paint.Ditto for anyone trying to take cover behind a car door! The guy selling it just didn't like that much. It works very well and is very accurate. I bought a Cetme wood stock set from Century for $20. I added a scope and stock riser and now have an incredible rifle for hundreds less than a PTR. Obviously I would recommend the C308. A JLD PTR "A" serial No should have come from the factory w/ a metal lower. The later PTR-91's, after change in ownership- came w/ the US made plastic lowers. The HK G3 wood forearm is too long for a 16 inch barreled PTR. The 16" barrel rifles require HK93 handguards?
