Fertilized essence comes from crops like coal seeds, fire seeds, ect. It doesn't out of normal inferum essence. I'd go with coal seeds because they're easy to make and they have a 5% chance to drop or something from them. You won't get the essence from Agricraft crops.

Double check to see if you're running version 61 of the mod. If not, update. I think it was added in either version 60 or 61. Doesn't look like its made it into the 1.11 builds yet at all.
