Good for carry but not shooting. The G30s I did own but sold it. Its lighter than the G30sf and I could tell the difference in the felt recoil. Even the about 3 oz. makes a difference at least for me. I like the G30sf over the G30 that I also sold. g30S and g30sf, use the same lower, the 30s uses the 1" slide same as the 36 vs the 1.1 for the 30/30sf. G30sf is the same as a gen 4 g30, with the g30.4 being able to use backstraps. Get a 29 and a 36 and make your own 30S.
