Was starting a new rampant playthrough and came across this seed which i really liked. Has lots of cliffs for defense as well as having 9 oil patches to the north. iirc, no. the map generation algorithm specifically makes sure these resources are not available within the "Starting Area" of the map - the slider in the map gen settings. Edit: well, in order to make it close to the starting area, make the starting area smaller /shrug. -2.

keep shuffling seeds in the preview until none of the starter ores are mixing together and there's no cliffs on top of them. not being in a desert will also be helpful for managing pollution. it'll take you a while, but you'll find one eventually. I would also add having water surround a great deal of your spawn.
