Honestly your mother shouldn't be near your wife or family unless you're there too. You need to be there to shut any of her crap down immediately. She was just looking to stir shit and to be mean to your wife. Pregnant women don't have to exist on salad to be healthy, and in fact doing so would probably be unhealthy. That means you're an adult who has started a new household and is responsible for your wife and beautiful baby's well-being.
