I have a Sig Tread and do enjoy it, but ensure you get their aftermarket charging handle…stock handle is too small and it’s proprietary so you have to get the Sig handle. It’s a quality gun so you can’t go wrong. Ruger SFAR would be a great choice because it’s very lightweight for an AR10 which is a major bonus.

I picked up my SFAR 16" about a 6 weeks ago. First range trip I had some new LAX .308, some surplus South African 7.62, some surplus Brazilian 7.62, some brand new Winchester M118LRW, and some wolf military classic .308 Soft Point 168gr. The gun would not reliably feed any of the 7.62 ammo on any gas setting.
