Rossi 92 rear sight replacement.
Since about 2010, Rossi Round Barrel Model 92's have been drilled and tapped under the rear sight, 4 holes for mounting a scope/red dot rail. Our rail uses those four holes for mounting. Screws and wrenches provided. Available in Black or Silver. Rail is standard Weaver or Picatinny style and accepts mounts and rings designed as such.

I've read that quite a few Rossi's come from the factory shooting high, but I seem to have the opposite problem. My Rossi M92 in 45 Colt (20" barrel) seems to be shooting low. bothmidway and brownells sell a replacement rear sight which will fit into the dovetail cut into the barrel. the marbles sights will give you a much better sight picture than the original buckhorn rear on the rossi. if you are satisfied with the existing sight picture, filing sharper steps into the elevator and removing the sight from the dovetail and bending it slightly down will suffice.The Rossi 92 front sight dovetail is oversized. I am trying to find a suitable rear sight for my Interarms 357 SRC. It doesn't have the top safety screw hole the new ones have, so I can't use a peep there.
