If you want to miter 2 beams at a corner, simply select one of the beams and right click on the blue dot on the end. You'll see a command for "Edit Beam/Column Join". Select that. Swapnil. Families do not have line styles they use line patterns and subcategories (object styles). Remove the unwanted subcategories / line patterns before loading into the project. If you've already loaded the family you can still remove them through object styles/ line patterns dialogue, however this will act project wide.
