If you work alone, LT is fine. If you have multiple modelers, full version for worksharing. This is key for using a group model simultaneously. Many types / sizes of projects don't require 3d, and it doesn't make sense have the extra cost for licensing, training, hiring etc to use Revit. Revit costs several times more per seat than traditional autocad for just a subsription.
