I used these from Amazon for my front turns and they have been working great for the ~2 months they have been in. They do get really hot, so make sure to mount them to metal.

The electronics is simply looking at the load. It is expecting a 21W bulb at the rear (the front/side are low power LEDS). An 8 ohm resistor will create a load of around 18W. The new LED bulb will add a bit more and make the car think it has the correct load (no hyperflash). Many LED bulb sellers supply 6ohm resistors.
This has typically (to my knowledge) been addressed in one of two ways. One less used way is to crack open the flasher module itself and disable the hyper flash. The second is to attach load resistors to the circuit between the module and the new bulb. One note though... the hyper flash is a form of warning indicator that you have a blown bulb. The ballast resistors defeat this warning system so you will no longer know if you have a blown bulb on the locations you install them.
