Being trip adviser I trusted the travel companies that came up in the results. Without so much as a thought, I booked my ticket via budgetair.com.
Paid $1700 through Gotogate. Flight schedule wasn’t great, but beggars can’t be choosers. Received notification from airline of cancelled flight just before takeoff on return flight that ruined my schedule . Couldn't get through on chat to got-gate so I bought my own fare. I paid £1,200 for flights as SkyScanner directed me to their BudgetAir's website. They took my money, but I never received my flights/booking confirmation or anything. BudgetAir are impossible to contact. It's been 2 weeks, but thankfully my bank will refund the money, but I still don't have the money or the tickets.They are impossible to reach when something goes wrong, they are based in India where western laws cannot touch them, they might as well be a scam company.
