I believe that the power to closed that relay coms from the ECM, just like the power for the Lift Pump. There are several with the same part number and are interchangeable.I'll have to remove the fuel filter assembly to be able to get at the bolts. What I did was electrically energized the solenoid directly from the battery with a couple jumper wires. It picks up and seems to want to hold, but still no start. I'm assuming the 3 wire solenoid has a "Pick Up" coil and a "Hold In" coil.I have a JD 2305 that was running just fine, I shut it off for only a few minutes. It would not restart.
