In the Specifications section of the manual I have from AGCO under transmission it states capacity 16 qt E.P. 80. Under Clutch (Transmission) it states Capacity 10 qt of either SAE 10w or 20w depending on temperature range.Depending on starting temps and condition of the engine, I would use Mobil 1 15w-50 for temps above 20 degrees and if the engine was a little worn. Dec 11, 2011 · I noticed that it called for 20 W oil in the final drives and that didn't seem right. So after some operators manual surfing this is what I found recomended for final drives. WD 140w above freezing and 90w below, WD-45 90w, D-14-15 -17 (series I) 20W, D-17 III & IV 90W.
D15 II oil capacity/checking. I have spent some time in the ops manual and on line on how to correctly check the oil level on the D 15 II. The book says capacity is 4 quarts for the series II. So when you shut it down the filter is full but immediately starts to drain back into the crankcase and thusly the level starts rising on the dipstick.

I believe if you plan on running hydraulics of some sort, then the lighter viscosity is recommended. I use 30W in mine that have the hydraulic pump.
