I am looking for a gas piston rifle and thought about getting a MCX but when I started looking at them, I kept hearing about Gen 1, 2, and now 3 and how parts from the Virtus don't interchange with the Legacy.Here's a pic below with Virtus Carriage Assembly over Rattler's shorty. Installing Virtus' 5.56 barrel kit in Rattler's Upper will require either replacing the Carriage Assembly's Op-rod, running a Virtus Carriage Assembly or buying a complete 5.56 Virtus Upper Receiver.
