Like they said $200 is a far price for one in excellent condition. $2600, must have been looking a something else. 100% blue book of gun values is $220. That means unfired in the original box.
It has to be either a Model 30A or a Model 36G, not a 36A (if it was made in 1965, that should make it the 36G). Either way, it is a Marlin Model 336 action and any Model 336 owners manual that is not for a cross bolt safety version will work. The Model 36G is a Glenfield product that was less expensive than the first line Model 336.
