Mowing with the 445 yesterday and noticed the temp gauge going all the way into the red then come back to straight up then back to red and repeating several time before I could get it back to the shed. Noticed that it did not push out any water thru the overflow and did not appear to be actually hot.

I was running about 1800 rpms and tested it I could put the throttle at idle but the engine remained at 1500 rpm. I just kept pulling and doing my thing.
