FYI you can still get ikelos red border weapons. In case you didn't know like me, the new ikelos weapons from last season are world drops, and can drop as red borders. I just got one from a random drop. I thought I missed out on them when last season ended, so this was a pleasant surprise! Oh, this is great! What a relief thanks :)
Ikelos comes from warmind nodes and after thets its from focusing, xur can sell it too, there is deepsight engram ever reset. The reissued Ikelos weapons are only found in the warmind caches. You combine 4 resonant stems which will give you a key to open 1 specific node. There is a finite set of nodes though.According to d2Checklist.com my god rolls is: Chambered Compensator. Seraph Rounds. Dynamic Sway. Tap the Trigger. Range: MW. For PvE I run a Subsistance. With 2 perks Surrounded or Demolitionist. If you like SMGs, I would suggest going for a Multimach from IB or Shayuras from Trials.I really like small bore and flared magwell on controller, threat detector and surrounded are both decent for PVE. TBH, Ikelos SMG is a beast with warmind cells, if the gun feels good to you , masterwork it for sure.Is it even worth to farm for Ikelos smg as of right now? I've done over probably 40 runs of seraph shield since season of the witch and have gotten ONE SINGULAR IKELOS SMG. go with the ikelos smg with subsistence and demo, use flared magwell because combined with the reload masterwork you are gonna have a pretty fast reload to make up for the lack of reload perk that stochastic variable is a god roll which is hard to get (took me like 100 hours of farming lol) use ricochet rounds not phase mag since phase is more ...Correct. Cause it isn't kinetic. I've had the ikelos sniper and seraph hand cannon drop for me as a world drop. So it may drop as a world drop now, but I'm not sure. It doesn't drop from Prophecy. The world drop pool is your only option. Spamming Banshee and world drop focused umbrals is your best bet. Focus Umbrals. You cannot get the ikelos smg from prophecy. Use the worldly engram focus form the season of the splicer (current season) tab in the helm instead of the season of the chosen one to save on shards.You get the most out of Voltshot in lower difficulty environments which still includes normal Raids, and FeedingFrenzy Voltshot is optimal for that.
