The "classic" Botania mana system that involves other mods is to have some sort of lava generation system that feeds thermalillies, though I found that a bit tedious compared to feeding endoflames. 3) Botania is all about encouraging you to tinker rather than just giving you OP powerz. I was contemplating a design using floating hydroangeas but ultimately decided against it because the floating-spinny-animation was hurting my FPS too much. Per flower wasn't too bad, but when you have ~2000 hydroangeas, it can get a little ridiculous. They also block mana bursts which became an issue as the farm was expanded. Almost anything is better than Hydroangeas or Endoflames. Read the mana generating flowers section of the book. Try them all, can't go worse than what you already have. So, I'm trying to make 4 terrasteel for a quest and a few dayblooms, nightshades and hydroangeas won't cut it. I'm now set on trying to automate thermalilies, which turns out to be a bit of an ache. I have floodgates, so that's probably going to make the thing a whole lot simpler. Any tips, comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
