Aside from the power plant core generators others have mentioned, both Camden Park and AMS headquarters have several fusion generators where cores can spawn and they're pretty easy to run through. All the firesbases in the cranberry bog have a chance to spawn power armor as well and those always spawn with a 25% full core.
