Is tradovate a good broker.

Ninja is a decent platform. It costs more and I just don’t think it’s as customizable. Interactive Brokers is just not good for futures. Platform sucks, data is crap. I’ve heard Tradeovate is good. But you still need a charting platform (I believe). AMP is probably the cheapest as far as commissions go. I'm new to tradovate and futures trading. I'd like to give it a try to the Ticks chart, but for the life of me I can't understand how to set it up. I've read many user in this sub suggesting to just switch from candle to ticks in the chart settings. Think or swim is garbage for futures. Use a real broker and a real platform especially if you're scalping or intraday trading. You need to be able to see the whole order book. I personally like jigsaw, sierra chart and optimus flow. There's a lot of quality brokers with a wide arrange of platforms like edgeclear, optimus futures, iron beam etc.

Free platform. Comparable if not cheaper commissions than AMP. For scalpers i would say tradovate is the way to go if you get the commission free trading package. Other than that the platform is pretty laggy compared to quantower , ninja trader etc, but it is a good starter platform. I’ll look into this.
