When having a barrel parkerized, how does the process affect the rifling? Specifcally, I'm considering refinishing my HK91. Having experince with airgun/brush painting, I'll end-up Duracoating it myself but will have to take it somewhere for parkerizing (as from what I've been reading appears to be the proper base treatment).

The 91’s up to 89 were normally chambered in .308 and had 1 in 12” twist barrels. As was posted FGGM 168’s are 1.5moa. Handloads should get you to MOA I would expect per many posts here and other forums. The PTR‘S have 1 in 10” twist. Better for heavier bullets. but the ultimate barrel perfection seems to be to the HK.
