afaik, volatile isn’t going to do a lot in pvp bc the threshold to trigger the volatile explosion is like 200 damage vs a player (aka more than most players health unless they have an overshield). I could be wrong, but yeah i’m pretty sure volatile rounds is just nuts in pve.

Pretty sure you should get both explosions. I’ve been using the new iron banner void sword with chain reaction and this works with volatile so it doesn’t appear to override anything. Volatile does seem to be the most powerful of the two though. Not only do they stack. Dragonfly applies volatility if they don't die by the initial double blast.

Volatile flow doesn't work with Hard light or gravtion lance. But Echo of Instability (void fragments) works with Hard light and Gravtion lance.
