Long-term investors use fundamental analysis of a company’s financial statements, such as earnings, sales, dividends, and future cash flow valuations. Stock Traders use the technical analysis of stock charts, prices, patterns, and supply and demand using volume indicators. R has excellent packages for analyzing stock data, so I feel there should be a “translation” of the post for using R for stock data analysis.
