Try to stop and restart the server again. If indeed the challenge is port 5432 as you suspect, you can try to start postgres on another port say 5433 and see what happens. Are you still experiencing the problem and/or did the support get back to you yet? 2 days isn’t that long to wait for a response (I think after 2/3 days you should get an automated message that they will get back to you), might take severely days/even few weeks depending on the amount of support requests they are receiving.

I set my primary to 8.8.8.8 and my secondary to 8.8.4.4 and this resolved my issue. I know it hasn't fixed it for everyone but it's worth a shot. My wife and I are both having this issue on PS4. Strangely we cannot connect to EA's server for plants vs zombies either.
