Chrysler 300 remote start not working.
The less expensive one apparently works fine, but it's one way (in the sense that the remote doesn't hear back from the car about whether it started or not) and the other is a two way. Dealerships charge huge amounts to install these (mine wants something like $200 in labor) but it's supposed to be semi plug & pray.

It says in my '08 manual that the horn will honk twice (if programmed) on remote starting. I guess if you have the horn set to honk on lock or unlock with the remote it will honk when you use the remote start. Nope the temp gauge won't work unless I restart the car even if I run it for 30 minutes or more.The ecu also runs the thermo fans as a precaution as it can't get a temp reading. Fans start cycling normally when I restart the car and temp gauge works and red throttle body light disappears. This is a 5.7 and 2010 model.
