This can be fixed by switching the "GPU Mode" to Interpreter. This will severely reduce framerate to around 5 FPS, but it is "playable". I just want to play while docked to my tv (with a controller) and right now, I have to start CEMU, then use the pads to select BotW. Using EmuDeck, I would be able to start the game directly from SteamOS. I found out that you should go to desktop mode, and run Cemu from desktop steam.

Im trying to run BOTW but whenever i download the DLC and Update from Wii U downloader, it doesnt give me the meta.xml file. I'm using a mac but im pretty sure that doesnt make a difference. I've extracted both files and just get a bunch of files, none with 'meta.xml'. The only meta file i got was from the actual game itself.

BOTW is running beautifully on my system. However, the game speeds up if the FPS goes above 30. My friends don't have this problem, and they used older versions of the game file. I acquired this file about a year ago and it includes the DLC packs. I use an AMD 6600 XT and an Intel i5 processor, however I was having the same issue on my old 1060.
Cemu is more of CPU heavy anyway. I have R5 2600 + RX580 4GB and I can run the game at 50-60fps even with some minor graphics mods on vulkan.
