But mini bases are slightly wider than the movement tool, so if going around a corner you need to leave some space between the tool and the corner. At the moment something like this isn't allowed, you'd have to swing out wider and do this.

Probably a bit strong for purpose, but I was able to use one per trooper mini and a few for vehicles for a good hold. I am not good at SW lore, I only saw movies (which I liked ) and played older games like Battlefront 1-2 back in 2000s.Given the price of the sw legion miniatures vs a few cents per printed miniature I want to give the troopers and droids a "real" paint job. So I'm following a YouTube tutorial. But I'm already struggling with the white primer. I never used a white primer before. I currently use Matt white primer (Army Painter) with a paint brush.

Strategise 2 to give both tank and b1s a dodge and aim, then portable scanner to second dodge onto persuader. With two dodges, nimble and outmanuever it is a lot more survivable. A clear base does have the advantage of never clashing with the board you're playing on, so that's a plus. In the end, do what you want. You're the one putting all the effort into them and they should look how you want them to look. The rebel troopers and luke are 2 of the best units so you are lucky. The one must buy i think is Leia, she is a cheap and always usefull commander. From there on i would just play a few matches and look at what you like and need. After understanding the game you can look at the units and tell if you want them.
