I mounted this Cyelee Calf X1 on my Ruger Mk III pistol using a TruGlo mount for docter pattern red dots. I had to grind down the included screws slightly to avoid bottoming out on the top of the pistol, but they at least had the right thread pitch. The glass is only lightly tinted.
